The Facilities Management IT Team supports only employees of the Facilities Management team. If you are a Georgia Tech faculty, student or non-Facilities staff member and you need technical assistance please visit the Technology Support Center.
If you are a Facilities Management employee and you need computer or technical support, then we have a few options for you to contact us. There are multiple ways to contact us, but requests get handled more efficiently when you follow this protocol.
- Help Desk Ticket: First try submitting a help desk ticket using our new online portal found at this link: IT Helpdesk Portal. You can log in to the portal using your facilities email address (ending in @facilities.gatech.edu) and your computer password. We also have knowledge base articles written and maintained by the I.T. staff for the sole purpose of providing "do-it-yourself" options for simpler issues.
- Email: You can send an email to our automated system at: askIT@facilities.gatech.edu. This generates a ticket automatically in our system, and your issue will be routed to the team member best suited to resolve your issue.
- Telephone: We have staff available to answer questions by phone from 7:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday (except campus Holidays). Our phone number is 404-385-8326 (xt: 58326 from any campus phone).
- Walk-up Service: Our office is open for walk-up service from 8:30am - 4:00pm in the lowest level of the Okeefe Building, room 35.
