In preparation for the construction of a new building for the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM), the installation of temporary utility poles-will begin along the west side of Techwood Drive on Mon. Aug. 25. Please note this is not a Georgia Tech-owned construction project. 

Georgia Power targets an anticipated completion date of September 5th. Below is a tentative schedule of activities during this period:

• Week of August 25: Installation of new poles in preparation for underground work
• Week of September 1: Boring of conduit and installation of underground cable
• By September 5: Energizing underground cable and removal of overhead lines

Once the vendors involved are finished with their work, Georgia Power will return to remove the temporary utility poles.
