Yearly Event Support

 

The Event Staging Department provides services each year for the following events:

  • Convocation
  • Football Homecoming
  • Commencement
  • Family Weekend
  • Relay for Life

Depending on the yearly event schedule, we also assist with the following types of requests: 

  • Office moves (max. 3 office set-ups at a time)
  • Student events 
  • Laboratory moves
  • Equipment unloading (forklift support)
  • Departmental events 

Unfortunately, we DO NOT provide the following event support:

  • Moving furniture to surplus
  • Tents and tablecloths
  • Stages or temporary stairs
  • Easels
  • Communication and A/V equipment
  • Set-up at fraternities or sororities, (students may pick-up and return tables on their own, with payment of deposit)
