As of August 2021, Building Services will begin the campus-wide implementation of the MaskIT® menstrual hygiene disposal system.  This new system is a hygienic and sustainable method of product disposal that has been adopted at numerous colleges and universities. Instructions on how to use the system are located on the product dispenser and signage on the bathroom stall door explains the benefits of using the system.

• Prevents plumbing problems
• Reduces toilet paper consumption
• Supports the Institute's sustainability goals
