I&S Data Request and L3Portal

Under the Georgia Tech Strategic Plan, the Analytics Department within Infrastructure & Sustainability (I&S) seeks to leverage the power of integrated decision making and cross-unit information sharing by delivering data into the hands of the Georgia Tech Community via an easily digestible and accessible medium. In addition, the Office of Sustainability (OCS) aims to enhance sustainability locally and globally, leveraging the Georgia Tech campus as a Living Learning Lab (“L3”) through data sharing and reporting.

The I&S Data Portal is exclusively for academic research by current authorized Georgia Tech faculty, students, and staff. Available data includes building and space, operational, financial, interview data, utility consumption, rates, GHG emissions, and climate action plan datasets.

Before requesting data, please check the Georgia Tech LITE Portal at https://lite.gatech.edu/ as it may already contain the needed information. Please note that response times for data requests can vary depending on their complexity and volume.

Note: Confidential information, personally identifiable information (PII), data subject to contractual or other legal restrictions, including, but not limited to FERPA protected data, is not available through this portal. Requests for data outside the scope of the I&S Data Portal or for protected data will be directed to the appropriate office, and if approved, disseminated through appropriate secure data sharing methods.

All data use is subject to these General Terms of Use and Disclaimer and must comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including, but not limited to Data Governance & Management Policy,Data Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Data Governance & Management Guidelines and Information Security Procedures, Standards and Forms.

You are prohibited from disassembling, decompiling, reverse engineering, copying, modifying, or creating derivative works from the portal's data, content and information without written consent. Non-compliance may result in the termination of your access to I&S data, the portal, and the requirement to return or destroy the data.
