To make way for the new Thomas A. Fanning Student-Athlete Performance Center, construction crews will begin the structural demolition of the Edge-Rice Building today.

Both lanes of Fifth Street between West Peachtree Street and Spring Street will be closed to vehicular traffic to ensure safety as utility work continues on Tech Square Phase 3.

Basketball fans and other visitors will be re-routed to 10th St. through February.

Due to planned construction activities in the northwest sector of Georgia Tech’s campus, pedestrian and vehicular access may be impacted on several streets in the vicinity.

The location project will last 10 days.

The O'Keefe gym will receive a new roof this semester.

Upcoming construction work will result in road closure beginning Dec. 19.

The Van Leer Chilled Water Project will be actively under construction until early November.

Beginning Wednesday, May 11, contractors will be onsite outside the Smithgall Student Services Building and W02 Student Center Parking Deck to reroute communication lines.

The City of Atlanta will shut down Techwood Drive between North Avenue and Bobby Dodd Way between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, and Friday, March 11, to repave the roadway and apply temporary striping.
