The Celebrating Women installation will illuminate the history of women at Georgia Tech, including staff, faculty, and alumnae. Fencing will be installed around the installation site.
Beginning February 19, 2024, construction and infrastructure work will begin for the Celebrating Women at Georgia Tech installation. Normal work hours will be Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Construction fencing will be installed around the site perimeter and a section of the sidewalk with direct paths to the John Lewis Student Center and the Ferst Center for the Arts will be temporary closed. All pedestrian traffic will be re-routed around these two buildings to the routes shown in the logistics plan below.
